Events
Throughout the year, Port Monmouth Fire Co. hosts a variety of events and fundraisers that directly support our all-volunteer fire company. Community support helps to keep our apparatus rolling and our gear up to standard. These community gatherings are our favorite way to bring neighbors together.
Below are a few of our major annual traditions, but be sure to follow our social media pages for announcements about pop-up fundraisers, open houses, and smaller community events throughout the year.

Pocket Book Bingo
February
Join us each February for one of our biggest nights of the year! Bring your own snacks and drinks, gather your crew, and play for a chance to win brand-name designer handbags! This event will sell out! Keep an eye out for ticket drops right after the holidays.

Car Show
May (Memorial Day Weekend)
Kick off summer with classic iron, custom builds, and great company. Our annual car show draws everything from antique roadsters and vintage muscle to modern exotics and custom trucks. Spectators can enjoy food, music, and a gift auction, while participants compete for trophies across multiple classes.

Mum Sale
September (3rd Weekend)
Held annually in late September right outside the firehouse bays, our Fall Mum Sale offers high-quality potted mums in classic autumn colors, giving the community a quick and easy way to decorate for the season while supporting our volunteer company.

Photos with Santa
December
Hosted every December at the firehouse, our annual Photos with Santa invites local families to meet Saint Nick, take festive holiday pictures alongside our apparatus, and enjoy sweet treats with their neighborhood volunteers.

Santa Tour
Christmas Eve
A beloved Port Monmouth tradition every Christmas Eve, our volunteer firefighters escort Santa Claus through the local neighborhoods aboard our fire apparatus, sounding the sirens and handing out candy canes to celebrate the holiday with our community. Event starts at approximately 5 PM.
